Best of the aromatics fail to materialize, yielding a standard lemon-twist interpretation with a slight difference... in defense of fake vanillin. Slitti finds a judicious, well-integrated use for it which directs a lot of the action, keeping the profile streamline, avoiding over-saturated oak monsters common to the real thing.
