Milk Chocolate
by MesocacaoImpact
The Florencio Xatruch of chocolate bars -- sourced in Nicaragua & crafted in Honduras.
Central Americans refer to a person from Honduras as a Catracho. The term was coined by Nicaraguans in the mid-19th century when Honduran Gen. Florencio Xatruch returned from battle with his soldiers after defeating American freebooters commanded by William Walker, who sought to re-establish slavery & take over the entire continent.
As the general and his soldiers returned, some Nicaraguans yelled out ¡Vienen los xatruches! ("Here come Xatruch's boys!"). However, Nicaraguans had so much trouble pronouncing the general's surname that they altered the phrase to los cat ruches & ultimately settled on los catrachos.
In 2003, a battalion known as the Tarea Xatruch in honor of Xatruch landed in Iraq on the side of the U.S. forces there.
This bar serves as a badge that its decorated creators continue to bring it in an All-American Milk Chocolate squadron.

Fixed gear / one speed… but what a ride.
Lusciously rich, making pickups right along the soda fountain counter.
A possible commercial blockbuster (oh, think it's easy bein' effin commercial?) unless the mob forgot the true taste of chocolate without the gobs of vanilla makeup & burnt cocoa beans.
The only kink: Texture, which early on hastens the otherwise poised sensory-gastronomy (& attests to moderately integrated components in the refining / conching phases). Yet even Texture comes pretty full & whole by the end melt (as reflected in overall Mouthfeel score).
Aside from that ancillary, Mesocacao Milk is a go-to MC that should be in everyone's cupboard for those midnight & morning pangs.
INGREDIENTS: cocoa mass, sugar, milk powder, cocoa butter
