Mild alright, with a bite. Bitter meets sugar in a test of wills. Both win.
This bar trades the insularity of Orquidea's 72% by seemingly swapping out some butter for more sugar & possibly more cocoa mass too. Which allows a playoff pitting sweet vs. bold -- the former dominating the early & middle frames, galvanizing those fruit accents, while the latter prevails toward the finish, carrying the more aggressive compounds forward… running a bit untamed, even wild, at the end in a contrastive highlight to what preceded it.
Confirms recent assessment of this company & its particular allotment of cocoa. Orquidea continues its eye (& mouth)-opening progress.
INGREDIENTS: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, lecithin
