Flavor 46.1 / 50
big-blasting chocolate-bang ignites rawkus orange creams (sapote / papaya, & mango too) -> veil of soft golden tobacco drapes over German chamomile; then, in a sleight-of-hand - an impalpable bitter directs flavors & adds background depth for black spice-spangled banner (nutmeg / cloves & faint Chuao-like reminiscences on molasses) -> Domori's signature cream-cashew next goes green (green fig / green grape, & now green mango too) -> blows out more golden smoke
Quality 19.3 / 20
Near the height of Domori's insight. Carenero sets off the fruit bomb of all Venzys but here Mack fuses up the full-spectrum of the cultivar rather than the usual fruit-focused approach by selecting beans of sound ferment & perhaps slightly less-than-complete sun-dried technique, then processed thru a median roast + somewhat shorter conche cycle. In this full-spectrum respect, Domori's the definitive Carenero.
