brandied action as smooth rum lays across golden grapes expressing their juices & distilling them -> meanwhile chocolate - dangerously close to amnesiac - simultaneously provides context, cools & further soothes the alcohol, & re-directs the progression to the end by covering over grape skins which have fallen like dominos that spring to life, blown & pumped back up, restored by a soda fizz shake (licorice, sarsaparilla, slippery elm) -> gushes to an orgasmic sultana raisin... a re-born again virgin coming home for that extra layer of 'wow'
Quality 18.5 / 20
Puts you in a good place with layers of complexities that go the distance in this well-matched / well-executed / well-named combine, linking up several nice little tricks, while hanging out near Claudio Corallo's Raisin d'Être. This is ultra-creolized media compared to Corallo who sticks closer to cacáo's roots & elements. And sweetness levels here are radical - so much sugar it’s hard to tell early on if there’s any chocolate in it - save for alcohol & intertwining flavors that just mix & slosh around, surmounting the sugar. The confected equivalence of a really rawkus night that ends up in somebody's crush pad & the next thing ya know it's the morning after, the sun's rising, you haven't slept a wink, & you feel much better for it.... pumped to start the day & do it all over again.
