soothing smooth: old library of leather & wood under thin layer of dried pepper spray; smoked cocoa up top
Mouthfeel 8.8 / 15
Texture: | takes awhile to warm, then mostly shards |

Flavor 34.4 / 50
crushes in red grape -> cocoa dust & stripped wood -> butter cream -> heat rising against small cherry backdrop – a gloried moment on the edges of fire w/o burning; once pepper fully infuses, it exposes pitifully-plain chocolate base -> clears cinnamon redemption
Quality 13.8 / 20
deBondt wields a masterful hand. If only the selection of raw materials were similarly deft. Smoked Jalepeño just girds an already boldly roasted cocoa, leaving ever-aggressive tannins in their wake.
