Tequila Shot
by CariBeansImpact
In a bar with inclusions, a single ingredient is not equal to its flavor as normally perceived because either the flavor is totally different when set among other components, or it's the same but a thousand times more revealing.
Here is that bar.
Easy to throw this one back... for its advantage over liquids lies in a portable solid.

Mouthfeel 12 / 15
Texture: | parched |
Melt: | jagged |
Flavor 42.9 / 50
cocoa dust / dirt spiked in salt -> wood branches-out to a lemon-lime in the deep background, forms a faint halo around some blue agave -> warms to a ground nut
Quality 16.7 / 20
CariBeans builds this trad untraditional shot without any actual tequila.
The list of ingredients: cocoa mass, raw cane sugar, leaves from lime trees & sea salt. Neatly measured & nicely melded. The lime so subtle to parallel what Erythroxylum coca leaves are to refined cocaine.
Just as a chord in music, when set in context, needs only 2 notes to infer the 3rd in its triad, the combined elements in this bar articulate a flavor that isn't even there - tequila.
Clever; right up there with Patric OMG PBJ & maybe even beyond.
