Idilio's Finca Torres was the first Choroní ever to hit the premium market. Consider this bar by Franceschi the return trip with an "open jaw" segment, to use a travel industry term.

They parallel each other in many ways despite Casa Franceschi transplanting clones from the original Choroni Valley to their estate in Paría.

Texture so thick & turgid it almost obstructs Flavor except it too consolidates a dense-pack.

Those flavor points very contiguous to one another (no divergent highs counterpoised against lows) & heavy flavor loads (which still, paradoxically, streamlines / mainlines a supple flexion of grounded blacks & browns). All of them excellent without any extraneous notes.

Similar to Idilio / Felchlin, recent Domoris, & Rogues, these superior barsmiths rarely excite the senses anymore. They just luxuriantly bath them. The difference between bubbles versus milk & honey. Each of these barsmiths calibrate their respective profiles meticulously, on occasion even exceedingly.

Some might sigh 'boring' while others will be too enmeshed in the hush of this chocolate to dissent.
